Is there free speech to text software. Fortunately, the answer is "yes", and you may already own it!
Back in April, 2011, I began looking for a speech to text software that would help me to blog more frequently. I did a lot of research on speech to text software programs , but most of what I've found, was text to speech programs. That's not what I needed. so, I came across a program called Dragon Naturally Speaking. This program however, can run up to $299.00. This is a lot more than I wanted to spend. So the end I decided to look for some alternatives. Again and most of what I found was not beach to text but rather text to speech. The text to speech programs do the exact opposite of what I needed. Although they are very good, I was trying to avoid typing anything. My typing is absolutely horrible. And I am too slow. Since I don't like to write, but I do have to blog, I had to find something that would work. I was willing to give dragon in trying, but the cheap skate in me and told me that there had to be an alternative. So my search began. Evidently Microsoft it does have a built in speech to text program. Unfortunately in XP it only works with office 2003. I have office 2007. Obviously this was not a good fit. For those of you who have windows seven , you can use microsoft office 2007. Most who have reviewed it like Dragon better which is understandable.
I kept digging, and eventually I found a program called Tazti. I liked the program because number one it was freed and number two it did almost the same thing as Dragon Naturally Speaking without to the high cost. Of course Dragon is the leader in the industry but I had to give Tazti a try. This particular post was written using Tazti . Tazti won't even recognize its own name –keeps spelling it "tasty" .Additionally there are more than a few errors. For example no matter how slow I say it , the software refuses to properly spell the word blog. In fact, as I just dictated that the last sentence ,the software rendered "blog" as "block" You will have to be extremely articulate and even still there are no guarantees. I would guess that this free software has about 80% accuracy rate .
Another very serious problem with this Dragon Naturally Speaking alternative is with punctuation. If you indicate that you would like specific punctuation tazti does a good job of inserting it. For example , the comma that I just used I dictated. But for some crazy reason ,TaztI refuses to capitalize the word I.this really stinks if you are writing a narrative.
Overall, after demoing Tazti , I decided that I did want to try Dragon Naturally Speaking after all. It doesn't have to cost $299.00. There's always Amazon.com. I purchased my copy on Amazon for less than $30.00. The software was brand new , the box was sealed , and even came with a headphones. I wasn't expecting The headphones. They were a nice surprise. It would have been really nice if they let you install it on as many computers as you want. But no software company does that. Dragon Naturally Speaking , allows for three installations.
Of the two software's Dragon is Ten times better. But Tazti is cheaper . By the way , Tazti is no longer completely free. There is a free fourteen day trial but the cost is $29.99 . This is the only advantage over Dragon Naturally Speaking, since it does not offer a free trial.

Free Trial Dragon Naturally Speaking Software
Is there a free trial of Nuance Dragon Naturally Speaking Software? A few months back , I spent a LOT of time looking for one. I actually did find a few links that offered a glimmer of hope but sadly, they turned up nothing. It seems that years ago, the Nuance company did offer a Free trial of Dragon Naturally Speaking, but there isnt one anymore. Your best bet is to use the speech recognition that is included in Windows 7 to see if the premise works for you, then you have a few options of getting the software affordably.
You could purchase the software on Ebay, Amazon or even Craigslist. If you do these, Ebay or Amazon will probably be your best bet . Software purchased on Craigslist can be pretty iffy. I have heard stories about buying software on Craigslist–even in the box that just doesn't work. Or you could end up with software that appears to work but then puts viruses or malware on your computer.
Since there is no free trial of Dragon Naturally Speaking Software, you should consider buying it online. I bought mine at Amazon and paid less than $30 for it . It was new in the box and had never been registered. I love it and it even came with a headset.

Are there FREE Alternatives to Dragon Naturally Speaking?
That is a good question and because I needed an alternative,it is one that I was really interested in finding out. I actually ordered Dragon Naturally Speaking back in March of this year. At first I spent time looking for a free trial. But I couldn't find an active link anywhere. Actually, there were a few links from about 2007 which said you could do a trial of the Dragon software, but they didn't work. From what I have read the Nuance company has taken the links down because they want to assure that all testers get an accurate Dragon experience and this is not possible with so many different microphones available. So now if you want to try it you have to buy it. Than of course the downside is that it probably isn't returnable. I'll have to double check on their return policy.
Dragon naturally Speaking needs an alternative for several reasons, Number one is price. The software ain't cheap. However, it does work. So if you've got the $100 dollars to shell out on the talk to text software go for it. If you don't have the money or want to test that this is even the right type of software for your need, consider downloading a FREE Alternative to Dragon Naturally Speaking . There are other software that actually do the same thing. the quality may not be as good as Dragon who seems to have really mastered this technology, but they do work .
My favorite alternative software to Dragon Naturally speaking is Tazti. This software I found by googling " talk to text software. " This program simplifies the talk to text concept and makes it a cinch to use. Dragon used up a lot of memory and space on my hard drive. I only recommend it if you have a newer computer. The Tazti program was lightweight and responded very fast. The Dragon program had a little spinning flame icon that would start spinning when you speak a word..then it woudl type the word and wait for the next word.
Tazti was much faster Im running Windows XP with just 1 gig of RAM and it works perfectly. And did I mention it was FREE! You just tell it a command" Go jot a note tab" Which means go to the jot down a note tab. Then it opens a screen where you can type. Of course you can also type into any email editor, wordpress page editor , games and so much more.
If you are considering Dragon and don't have the cash, try the Alternative to Dragon Naturally Speaking called Tazti. The main limitation I found is that it isn't as good as dragon when trying to distinguish words like "bed" and "ded" > It also confuses words with a "f "or th sound.
However you can train the program to recognize your voice patterns and learn how you speak better.

Free Speech to Text Software
I have been doing a lot of blogging lately. That's why I started looking for free speech to text software. At first, I looked into Dragon
NaturallySpeaking. Dragon NaturallySpeaking is supposed to be one of the best speech to text software is out there if not the best. So I begin looking for a free trial. After about a week of clicking on dead links that went nowhere I gave up. At this point I do not believe that there is a free trial of Dragon naturally speaking speech to text software. In fact, I read on a website that the makers of Dragon naturally speaking have decided not to do a free trial because of microphone incompatibility. For example if someone downloads the free trial and a microphone doesn't work then they won't get the benefit of the trial. That's the only thing that makes sense to me. Because I love to demo software especially expensive software before I buy it so anyway that idea is done. There's no free trial to download of Dragon NaturallySpeaking software.
So of course since I'm so cheap I decided to look for a free alternative. I wanted some free speech to text software that at least I could try. I was absolutely willing to pay for the Dragon NaturallySpeaking software but I have to see the work first. I wanted to make sure that the technology was really up to par. I did watch a few videos on YouTube and they looked impressive but I wasn't convinced that it would work for me. So I started to look for free speech to text software. Now a lot of people probably don't know this but there is a free speech to text program that actually included in Windows XP if you are also running office 2007. However the support is extremely sketchy. There is a very confusing information, even conflicting on Microsoft's website and there's not much available online. Fortunately for me I did happen to have office 2007 installed and there was a guide online that explained it from start to finish. It didn't work right away, but after little tweaking I got it to work. I will say this–it is very sketchy. It didn't come close to the Dragon naturally speaking software that I had seen demonstrated on YouTube. I wasn't impressed.
Next I started looking for another alternative. I found a software called talk it type it so I will I decided to give it a try. Talk it type it was the biggest disappointment. It managed to get about 10% of my words correct. What a waste of time! I began my search again, and this time I found a software called Tazti. Now Tazti is a speech to text recognition software which has a free and paid version. I'm not sure why anyone would buy the paid version because the free version worked pretty well. So I began to use the free version and I was impressed! I would guess that Tazti got about 80% of my words correct. But it wasn't enough for me because I still had to go back in and do all these manual corrections are figured I might as well just typed article–which is what I wanted to avoid in the first place. Since I needed a higher degree of accuracy my search was not over. Have this nagging suspicion that Dragon would work better, I headed over to Amazon to get my copy. I ordered it on a Friday and it arrived on Monday. That was cool. Now figured this speech to text software absolutely has to work because it supposed to be the best in the industry . I installed it and right away the software told me that I didn't have enough RAM. It warns me that the program would be running kind of slow on my system. I never even realized that I only had .99 GB of RAM. Dragon naturally speaking requires two GB of RAM as a minimum. But I installed it anyway I figured at this point I've already waited three weeks test it out software didn't work, I'll deal with the RAM issue later.
As of today, Dragon naturally speaking for almost a week and I will admit that it's well worth the money and you get what you pay for. The free text-to-speech software really doesn't even come close to what Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 11 is able to do.

I Didnt Want to Join Ardyss (MLM) and Sell Body Magic
When my mother in law asked me to host her Ardyss showcase, I balked. Not another Multi Level Marketing presentation. Surely, I had had enough. I wasnt at all interested, but shes the mother in law so I obliged. Because that day kind of changed my life I remember it very clearly.
The showcase was actually a party she asked me to have for her. I was to invite 30 of my closest friends in the hope that 10 would show up. I agreed and we scheduled the party three for weeks later. BIG MISTAKE I completely forgot about the showcase party and she didn't remind me. The party was on a Friday. Mom called me on Tuesday evening to ask how the guest list was coming along. "What guest list?". "Oh man" She was referring to the party I agreed to host for her. I told her it was coming along fine and then I got very busy on the phones. In all honesty I hadn't invited anyone.
Things weren't looking good…
At about 6 pm on Tuesday evening, I started making phone calls but because I had waited until the last minute it seemed everyone had plans. "Hi..Nicole..Um Its Ayana.Im having a reshaping party this Friday evening. Can you come?…"Oh…I see….OK, well maybe next time" Yup, that's pretty much how all of my phone calls went. None would even try to commit. I was distraught. There's nothing like completely screwing up a relationship with the MIL. Now what would I do? I made more calls.
Fake it till you make it.
"Hey Charisma, look, Im having this party for my mother in law this weekend. I completely forgot about it until a few days ago. I know you have seen the presentation before at someone else house but PLEASE would you come again. I just need bodies….There will be food." What a sad day in MLM history. I had resorted to bribery to get guests to come to the party.
Using the "You don't have to buy anything, just show up for the food " line netting me a whopping five guests. I had managed to pull off the semblance of a halfway decent party.
My Resolution
Having spent almost $400 on a cosmetics kit for a different MLM in the past, I was dead set against trying any other MLM ever again. It simply wasnt for me. I'd previously informed my mother in law that I wasnt the type to be selling things to people but of course, I'd host her party.
When the guests arrived, I sure was happy to see them. I played it real cool while we all listened to Mom's spiel. There was no way I would join her business. 'No. Im not interested.' I resolved. I was a rock. But then a funny thing happened. She had everyone try the Body Magic on. Mind you I had seen it before on myself, but I wasnt prepared for my friends reactions. Charisma came out with a small waist and a huge grin. She reminded me of the Chesire cat from Alice in Wonderland. She had that 'you can't tell me nothing' attitude. I don't know if she realized it or not, but when she walked into the room, her hand was on her hip. She oozed attitude. It was amazing! The scenario repeated itself four more times as the different women strutted their stuff. The music was pumping and everyone was acting like a supermodel. The inner divas just exploded into Moms living room and so did the cash. She made 2 sales and enrolled 1 person into her business that night. That's when it hit me. If these women feel this way about this product, how would the rest of the worlds women feel? I thought to myself…'I can do this'…' Yes I will do this… Now here is a product that I can get behind.' MLM to me was synonymous with the Pink Cadillac and makeup, so I had dismissed the idea without giving it a reasonable consideration. I now realized that MLM wasn't the problem at all. I only needed to be passionate about the product I was marketing. I needed to sell something that people wanted…really wanted, but wasn't available at every department or drugstore. Purses, cosmetics, diet pills, seemed to be a dime a dozen, but here we had gold. I was in.
Im hardly ever wrong about anything but…
This true story played out in an Arizona living room just three months ago. Two days later, I also joined Ardyss International. In those three months, I have sold dozens of Body Magics and other garments and I have ranked twice. I have built a team of distributors which stretches from Coast to Coast and best of all I'm having fun! On top of the commissions I now receive for bringing other people to our amazing opportunity, I also make "right now money" when I sell garments. Ardyss is even paying my car note!
If you are anything like I was and are very wrong. Not every MLM is created equal. I had an epiphany at that showcase which changed my life. I have reduced my web design business to just a few clients whose sites I have agreed to maintain and I spend my days working my Ardyss business. Now I am the consultant at the Ardyss showcases. I am a transformer. You know what happens when you take women and men down 2 sizes in ten minutes? You transform their lives. They start to smile. They stand erect and they stand proud. It's a really good feeling helping women look and feel good about themselves. Im getting paid well to do what I absolutely love and it never feels like work.
The Body Magic by Ardyss International is a product that people want. If you are looking for a way to make some real money and have fun doing it, give Ardyss a try. Im so glad I did!

Ardyss Body Magic Complaints
Let the buyer beware! There are hundreds of Body shapers available for purchase on the internet all of which make some pretty hefty claims. But should you believe them? Of course not. It would be foolish to believe everything that you read, or in these days of Photoshop, its also foolish to believe everything you see.
Corsets are designed to gradually shape a woman's body in to a more feminine, hourglass form. Its not a new process so why on earth is shapewear so in demand right now? Well, you could start by blaming it on celebrity culture and the ordinary mundane lives of so many Americans. We all want to look like a Hollywood starlet, but our lifestyles don't allow for personal trainers and chefs, plastic surgery, bot-ox injections and the like. If we want fabulous bodies, we have to do it the hard way – tedious dieting and exercise and at best we could hope to lose about 2-4 pounds a week.
But what if you really want to look amazing right now? Well, you could always put on a girdle and suck in your gut. The problem with that solution is that girdles tend to roll and besides, how on earth do you suck in back fat? Alternately, you could do one of those slimming wraps which basically squeeze out all of the excess water in your body. Only problems is that the results are very temporary. There is a solution that actually works though.
About 20 years ago a Mexican manufacturing company began producing a garment which is known today as Body Magic. In fact don't purchase any Ardyss International shapewear, because if you do, you will be bucking the aforementioned trend and you will actually look fabulous and well put together in your clothes. People will stare at you. Your friends will ask what you are doing to lose the weight and you will feel wonderful.

Does Body Magic Really Work?
As a mom of four children, I have tried almost under garment to get my figure right. However, I'd always run into the same problem: these products always did one of two things. Either they rolled up on me, or they created rolls where I previously had none.
I even used one of the most popular shapewear garments on the market today–one that has even been endorsed by an extremely well known talk show host. But it was to no avail. You see, that shapewear stops just below the bra line. Then it creates a roll between the bra and the top of the shapewear where fat pops out like a can of biscuits.
Mind you, I'm not a big girl. I wear a size 10, but even I was having these issues. Now imagine a more sizable woman. The results would really be disastrous. So the quest continued until I found the celebrities secret!

You wont find many bad reviews for any of Ardyss' shapewear. I don't know how the geniuses at Ardyss came up with this but it is the last foundation garment I'll ever own. I'm donating my drawer full of completely useless shapewear to the local thrift for someone else to struggle with. Body Magic is most definitely NOT a scam or a trick.
